Treatment Provided
I have more than 15 years of experience in providing treatment to individuals struggling with the following:
  • Mood Disorders to include depression and Bipolar Disorder
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Substance Use, Abuse, and Dependency
  • Personality Disorders
Additionally, I provide therapy to individuals and couples seeking help with the following areas:
  • Personal Growth
  • Distress Tolerance/Stress Management
  • Communication Issues
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Relationship Issues
  • Grief and Loss
  • Significant Life Changes
  • Parenting
  • Self-Esteem

For couples I also provide intensive sessions that last 2 to 4 hours. These sessions are great for couples looking to dive deep into the current challenges they are facing. These sessions can be used to kickstart therapy leading into regular weekly or bi-weekly sessions, or for those couples who cannot commit to regular sessions. The extended time ensures that couples can get to the heart of issues and work on solutions in a less time constrained environment. The Gottman Method is utilized heavily during these sessions. Currently these sessions are available only on Friday mornings.

Lastly, I provide supervision to therapists looking to achieve their LPC and/or continued supervision to therapists providing treatment to clients who need additional support. I believe that supervision is an important part of every therapists continued growth, and enjoy working with therapists in all stages of their development.

My primary approach to therapy utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral technique. However, I also pull from Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systems Theories, and Client-Centered Therapy. Additionally I am trained in the application of The Gottman Method for couple therapy and utilize their research and techniques throughout my sessions. This eclectic approach allows me to tailor therapy to my clients needs, providing them with a greater opportunity to reach their treatment goals.
